"I was glad that I had joined SMILE as it gave an insight into dentistry in terms of aesthetics, implantology, and also entrepreneurship. The lectures and workshops conducted were beneficial. However, it will be a plus point if the time allocated for the workshop is not constricted. Moreover, we were able to engage with the community by visiting Singam’s Live and Life Care Centre. We had the opportunity to know more about the senior citizens and their “felt needs”. We were able to create awareness and motivate them to take positive steps toward better oral health. Overall, it was a great experience as the hands of friendship among dental students from a different region of the country are joined together to bring a positive impact to the community."

The smile appearing on the elderly face after the checkup that corresponded to the theme of the event - SMILE.
